Thanks Peter , no need to measure though .
For the screen the parts thing shows a difference at EA 88+ and at FA 89+ and again at JA 92+ and then MA 94+ which is a different fitment .
I guess a glass supplier will/should know which is the right one , i guess i`ll findout .
Cheers

: I believe thinner glass was introduced in the
: side windows in about 1989 to solve the old
: problem of the electric windows being slow
: to close, i.e. the thick glass was too
: heavy. Haven't heard of the same with
: windscreen glass. If I get a chance I'll see
: if I can figure an easy way to measure the
: thickness of the windscreens in my 1988 and
: 1994 Rangies.

: G`day Everyone ,
:
: Can anyone tell me what year or vin that the
: thinner glass was fitted to Range Rover ?
:
: Just out of interest , with the correct seal
: is there a reason why the thicker glass
: windscreen couldn`t be fitted to a thin
: glass RR and in reverse , with the correct
: seal a thin in a thick ?

: Cheers
