With the intermittent problem.
Perhaps a way to progress would be to fit a led ( light emiting Diode and resistor for 13.8 volts to each point of interest )
In a semi permanent manner. Thus when a problem arises flick the bonnet and read the leds. Suggest finding a mounting method that suits the connectors on the vechile.
ie a led with a reversed diode and about an 820 ohm resistor in series.( purchase from local electronic store.
