Clock and interior light do indeed share a fuse. I would suggest that the clock and the light are both cutting out due to a poor connection at the fuse box or before it. I would start by replacing the fuse, then check the contacts at the fuse itself (clean them), then at the back of the fuse box and keep working your way back along the circuit.
