    Peter
Suggest looking at the electrical connections on the lpg.
ie Both the +12 volt and the earth connections which often corrode enought to cause problems.
I prefer to use a small light globe with a couple of wires soldered to it.
Connect one end to a good earth to check the +12 volt items with the other. Payes to have a sharp tip to connect to probe with. Corner of a screw driver or sharpened nail. Can be worth taping up the metal object. Any tape will do.
Earthy connections are checked by connecting one end to +12 volts and the probe on ground will be bright for a good earth.
    Find one has 3 states.
    OFF ie no light
    12 volts ie bright light
in between ie usually one is powering up something through the globe.

    By the way
Had a similar frustation on a single mixer set up. Turned out to be the economising valve which was between the evaporator and
the mixer. This had a stripped thread.
Is there such an item on yours.
    Cheers

    : Hi all
    :
: 85 BA duel fuel IMPCO system Twin carb
: Twin Mixers Twin tanks .
    :
: This is not from cold , it has to be
: primed to start from cold , the problem
: occurs when it is warmed and also often
: when air temp is higher , it`s
: intermittant and ongoing for a couple
    : of years .
    :
: Every now and again but not of late and
: even in the heat , the car won`t start
    : on LPG .
    :
: It generally fires once and won`t start
: when it occurs . Similar to when a
: rotor is playing up .
    :
: Other times it will it will run for
: 5/10 sec and stop and not restart .
    :
: Then other times it`s dead as a door
    : nail , winds but won`t start .
    :
: It`s only ever happened twice after
    : refueling .
    :
: The norm is the key is barely turned
: and it fires , just sort of flicked on
: and it fires , there is nothing wrong
: with the start system .
    :
: I can find no faults with the lpg
: system or electrics related other than
: the way i can start it when the problem
    : occurs .
    :
: The way it can be started is by
: disconecting the solenoid wires and
: jumping a power wire to the main fuel
: line solenoid at the converter .
    :
: If i do this it will wind over for
: around 5 seconds before it will start
: but it will always start .
    :
: If i don`t do this it can be wound over
: for as long as you feel like , it can
: be left and gone back to for 10/15/30
: minutes and it may or may not start .
    :
: The way this part of it works is
: similar to an EFI fuel pump , there is
    : a computer , it`s not the normal type
    : saftey switch ( well it`s called a
: computer don`t know what`s in it )under
: the dash so what i`m doing is like
: jumping a power wire to an EFI fuel
    : pump .
    :
: Sorry about the length but it`s a bit
: hard to explain otherwise .
    :
    : Any ideas ?
    :
    : Cheers , Peter
