Posted by George on September 5, 2007, 12:01 am When towing a van, car fully loaded with 5 people and all the associated crap that goes on holidays, 600w inverter plugged into ciggy lighter for notebook, as well as engel running off the centre console cig socket, car hesitates on petrol, though runs perfect on LPG when manually switching over. What do you think guys, too much current draw for fuel pump? In normal city use, no problem whatsoever on petrol (or gas). Runs perfectly. Only when towing and all electrical extras are running on cig lighter sockets. I would have thought if it was fuel pump then it would be missing all the time and not just when under load. New petrol filter fitted. All thoughts appreciated. TIA
