    G`day Wayne ,

Maybe looking around wreckers yards you may find a hose off a different make .

As long as the hose fits i don`t know how important the taper is but don`t think it would have a huge effect .

Maybe you could fit a sleeve on the small end to fit a nontapered hose ?

Depending how the manifolds a warped you may be able to file them flat again or similar .

If silicon won`t work to seal there are seperate gaskets from SD1 Rover cars or the later RR have a one peice gaskets that are fairly thick .

If your already using single gaskets it is possible to put them on back to front and as well as blocking ports they won`t seal also if around the right way they can appear to be fitted right but can be fitted with the bolts not through the holes , so won`t seal .

The single gaskets can be troublesome because one has to go on feel more so than what you can see .

    Cheers
