And your tuppence may be right on the money! I haven't got my hands dirty till today so thought I'd check all the carb flange nuts. Some needed a turn or so. The test will be over the next few days but it doesn't seem to cackle as much out the exhaust either. May have been causing mixture probs for a while....we will see.....
