If so, we are definitely related. (And by the way, one of the guys who works in the box office at the Martin Beck is a patient of his--I've always been meaning to thank Mike B. for unwittingly helping me get great seats.) In any case, I have to admit that for a very short period in my early, not-quite professional career, I was not Jeff Blumenkrantz. I was Jeff Brandt. I was twelve years old and working with a children's manager who would not represent me unless I changed my name. My mother came up with the name, and subsequently used it as the name of her design business, Brandt Interiors.
