Posted by Sarrah on 2/13/2006, 12:06 pm OK, I also must recommend new music to you because I was reading your "Jeff recommends" section and I think you would love Mr. Marc Broussard. http://www.islandrecords.com/marcbroussard/site/home.las He is from Louisiana, and has a great sound. My favorite tracks on the CD are "The Wanderer", "Rocksteady", and "Saturday", but I could go on. He currently is sharing top playing time on my ipod with your podcasts and "Floyd Collins", so that should tell you a little about my listening habits Message Board posts shouldn't be this long, but I couldn't get your email to work, so have a fantastic time tonight at BirdLand (I unfortunately can't come) and enjoy your week!! cheers,

Well first off, I must say congratulations to you and Vicki for an absolutely beautiful evening Friday night. Vicki of course was phenomenal. All of the musicians on that stage were world-class, but the most moving part was how apparent it was that everyone genuinely cared about each other and they wanted to do nothing more than make music together. And of course by the time we got to your arrangement of "How Can I Keep From Singing" I couldn't help but go into the messy-cry!! With the combination of the love in the room, the music itself, and of course the view of central park, it was the perfect New York evening
