I never went to ground as they say........my opinions over the summer months were well documented and thankfully my wish came true with the exit of Sullivan / Gold & Brady.
Most of us on here knew they had been ripping the heart out of our club for years and it was time for them to depart. Pity they left some un-paid bills for the new regime to pay off but that was no more than i expected of them anyway.
Let's hope that our new owners are good to their word and invest the £20-40M that is needed for us to survive this season. Personally i think we won't spend £20M in January as good players very rarely move in that window.
I think the big money will be spent in the summer......whether Big Eck will be spending it though is a different matter ?
IMO he deserves a chance to be a success here.....he has spent his limited budget well so far and given some proper funds he could establish us as a permanent fixture in the Premier league for years to come.
I do think that Mr Yeung & Co may have other ideas and appoint a so called bigger named manager..........only time will tell.

82.37.113.224Like you I can at least feel more optimistic aboyt the future, whether these mega bucks appear only january will prove it, but what i do like is the fresh approach of these chinese guys, much better than the miserable sullivan approach, he was p****d with the club and fans and the fans were p****d with him, not so much with David Gold. So a fresh start was needed.
The new owners will give Big Eck the remainder of the season and I feel he deserves it, and hopefully with what he gets and what he buys he can prove himself, otherwise it will be "up the road" for you mate.
Nice to be having a friendly post with you, can we make a habit of it???????
