Zigic was the tallest player to appear in the Premier League when Birmingham signed him almost three seasons ago.
At six feet eight inches tall, he has cut a cult figure and his presence was invaluable as the club lifted the Carling Cup in 2011.
But his mammoth £60,000-a-week wages are crippling the club financially. Despite this, he has retained popularity among the St Andrew's crowd.
That is sure to take a battering, particularly as Watford arrive at St Andrew's on a high, but after admitting Zigic's behaviour had caused him a problem, Clark also maintained that an improvement in his performance ahead of next Tuesday night's game against Sheffield Wednesday could see him return to the squad.
