Andy, First off - lovin' your poor run at the mo' as it blows this " big four" nonsense out the water & just shows the depth of your squad & the FACT that you really are a two man team !!!
Should not have sold Alonso ( not that I am bothered ) & you can only get "excited" about a handful of games every season.
Any road up in answer to your quieries :
1. Usual stuff from the boys in royal blue, a lot of cudda, wudda, shudda - absolutely nothing up top, midfield including the most impressive Ferguson & Bowyer holding their own thus far (ie) not being over run & an absolute gem at the heart of our defence - no-one has (or has looked like) hammering us so far this campaign.
2. Breath of fresh air blowing through the club at the moment with the take over from Hong Kong Bluey, survival a "must" this campaign.
3. The rest of the English footballing fraternity really do not give a toss at the continuing mis-fortunes of Looneypool, in fact I would say they are all having a quiet giggle at your clubs expense - as good ole Jim Royle used to utter - "Big club, - My @rse"
As for Hong Kong Bluey, too early to comment, but all the noises are positive. The most telling statement about the owners has been the leader of Brum city council who was sat next to Hong Kong Bluey at the recent home game vs Slumberland, & the talk is of the "new stadium" being back on the councils "to do" list
4. One of the first things that was recognized by the new owners was the number of supporters who were dressed up at Stans as empty seats !!
So they introduced a new pricing structure which hopefully will be of benefit for the next run of home games vs Fulham, Wet Spam & Thugburn respectively - fair play to them
Unlike the penny pinching, robbing gehts who were the previos encumbants of the purse strins of the club.
5. With the "new money" that has landed at the club it has been quite noticeable how well a number of the squad seem "eager" to play & retain their place in the first team squad, lot of noise about the Ecuadorian, strangely with the same name as your "saviour" but has yet to deliver after a couple of "away" days in the father land.
6.After taking us down including a 5-1 reverse at the swamp the season before last, it was only fair he was given a chance to get us up, which was achieved ( albeit on a shoe sting of a budget ) - deserves a chance & after insisting with a 4-5-1 strategy up until the Sunderland game, has not done too bad, does not suffer fools & some rather pleasing football on the eye which culminated in another cudda, shudda, wouldda vs. Citeh Sunday last in a 0-0 home victory
7.Stephen Carr, Roger Johnson, Seb Larsson, Lee Bowyer, Barry Ferguson, James McFadden ( when he's fit )
8. Chooch, Joe Hart, Gary O'Connor, & the bone idle Cameron Jerome
9. Fernando Torres
10. Wait & see, but you must understand that we are considerably & I mean considerably richer than yow !!!!!
11. Believe your man has won you the League Cup, F.A. cup & the fluke in Instanbul, as well losing in another European Cup final & they want to get rid of him ???? Observe the Wenger empire/legacy at Arsenal & learn - Did Shankly not leeave you lot anything about continuity ??
12. I'll give you three numbers 4,5,1
13. You do seem to only get yourselves in the mood for a handful of games per season, two Sundays ago being a prime example - as I stated earlier, no-one has given us a hiding (yet) so far this season & hopefully this will continue on Monday
14. @ 8/1 I'll go for a 0-0 depends how strong the ref is, as we all know how embarassing some of these officails are when they have a chance to "perform" on a big stage
