No, LV, you are NOT horrible. Long drives can be very exhausting - especially if you are not in a "road trip" mood. Hard to have fun and enjoy the trip if you've got baggage at home like this.
Better for everyone to postpone it until you can let go of home and focus on relaxing... but once your mom's house is sold please DO go... you deserve some time to enjoy.
BTW - you need to get a BMW for a trip like that. Don't forget to bring a cat carrier with you, too.
