It is because it is probably some loophole that anti choice people are trying to use to stop women from getting abortions if they choose. Are women required to hear all the risks of giving birth, using birth control, having sex? No, they aren't.
Blah, blah, blah, why do you care? You are a man and bear no risks either way if you keep your pants zipped. Mind your own business unless you plan to adopt a few unwanted babies, I don't see how this is your deal.
