Posted by T Gautier I was one of about 150 TU fans standing outside the gates of Turchin applauding in the rain when your team came out after their loss to Bama in the NCAA Regional - a team that you scared Big Time in the 9th. We were hoping to face the Cajuns in the Championship game - not Bama. Your fan support was great at Turchin, a real lively crowd! At least we wupped'em, the 2nd time we beat the SEC (Send Em Cash) this year (1st was lsuam/br). We were also hoping to host lsu at Turchin at our Super - only to repay the "hospitality" we've received for too many years at The Box by that rowdy, rude contingent! Too bad! My only regret is that the state that perhaps has the best of collegiate baseball in the USA can only send one rep to Omaha - thanks NCCA. Tulane will do its best to get there and make all LA baseball teams/fans proud! Maybe next year things will improve for LA St BB -that the Nation will have the chance to see what we produce in BB here in the Bayou State. We will renovate our Turchin this Summer - so your stay will be better nest year - no LA St Gov funds here, it's all done w/ priviate donations! (PS: we also appaulded Bama after we won last night - it's the right way - it's our LA way of treating our sporting opponents and their fans. After all, this is student athletics - not pro ball! Hope to see our RC country cousins form South LA again soon! Fight it out hard on the field Boys – but keep it clean in the stands, Fans. Mais Oui, Mes Amis?) I wanted to post this on the RC fan board – could not find it. Help me out!

Congrats from a Tulane fan on the Ragin Cajuns' season. Your season stats are very impressive! Great coach/program. Sure you'll be back at Tulane's Turchin stadium soon.
