Posted by nmsumanager on 5/24/2005, 2:45 pm, in reply to "Will the coach survive" UALR terminated baseball coach Brian Rhees today after nine seasons at the helm of the Trojan program. Im grateful to Coach Rhees for the nine years he has worked at UALR, and I wish him continued success, UALR athletic director Chris Peterson said. He oversaw two renovations of Gary Hogan Field and helped turn the ballpark into a true Division I facility. Rhees has watched over a $2 million renovation project that included new infield turf, an indoor workout facility and new locker rooms and offices and several other amenities at Gary Hogan Field. Rhees compiled a 190-292 record in his nine years at UALR.
