I agree totally. I used to play for Western and I always thought I had a chance to play at the next level. But, because I wasn't a favorite on the team I never got that chance. Coaches should do all that they can to get thier players to the next level, I saw players that had the ability to play the next level get passed on because Westerns coach would not help them. Now I know that it takes a good player to make it but the coach needs to work to get these players names out to the scouts. Westerns coach only does this with players that he likes. Its a fact!!! I was actually a better baseball player before I got to Western. Have you ever heard of someone getting worse when they move to a D1 school. For the young players on this years team, I'll give you some advice. Don't let it happen to you. If this upsets anyone, I'm sorry but sometimes the truth hurts.
: First of all, for those of you who do not know
: WKU fans and it past (and present) players,
: there are very few followers. I am pretty
: sure that the only ones are on this website.
: Many, many, many ex-ballplayers from this
: University would not donate a dollar if they
: won the powerball. There are present
: players, for every year, that can't stand
: going to the ball park with that man
: standing in the third base box. Now, for
: the very few supporters that make stupid
: comments on this website, you first have to
: meet these people to know where they are
: coming from. I guess if the Tampa Bay Devil
: Rays finally won the American League East
: they would probably live it up for the next
: 25 years, because that will be the next time
: they do it. Same thing in this case, they
: know they are done for a while so they just
: feel the need to brag about their
: accomplishment, as short as that list may
: be.
