You do have to realize one thing though, they are in the city of Bowling Green, KY. Not too many iconic figures come to mind when I think of that place. Murrie's first Sun Belt Tournament Championship in 25 years was probably the best thing that happened to that city since the legal age limit was reduced to 13, maybe the football teams Div. I AA National Championship. Who knows, if Murrie ever finishes better than 3rd in regular season play, they might name the city "Murrie Green, KY."
: The people in Bowling Green and WKU athletic
: department do not have a clue what a good
: coach is. The latest headlines in the WKU
: newspaper are "Murrie, Icon In the
: Making". That is no joke, the people in
: Bowling Green obviously do not know
: baseball.

: WKU's first Sunbelt Championship in about 25
: years will be there last in another 25
: years, unless they are smart enough to get
: rid of the entire coaching staff and get
: some people in there that know what they are
: doing. No more Mosier practices while
: Murrie is in the press box talking on his
: cell phone, telling people about his next
: podigy, ANTONE TOWNS. Give me a break; hit
: another ball off the handle past a diving
: middle infielder that doesn't make it to the
: outfielder. WKU gets some of the worst
: players to play Div. I baseball, and sits
: some decent players that could start for any
: other team in the Sunbelt. Matt Ransdell is
: starting every game for the Tops, regardless
: if he's hitting .375 right now, he is,
: maybe, a Div. II player. Oh well, if
: Western athletic Department likes settling
: no better than 4th (or worse) every year in
: conference play and 1 NCAA Tournament
: appearance every 25 years, mission
: accmplished.
