nearly never came to the fest this year after the shenanigans on the campsite last year but couldnae stay away.this year the campsite was wonderfully peaceful apart from the happy laughter tunes and continual folky banter, the dome tent was a great addition to the campsite hope this will be a regular feature.(it also helped keep us campers dry during the heavy downpours) thanks to everyone who helped keep girvan folk festival alive heres to both the organisers and festival goers alike.
: Had a wonderful weekend, We camped at
: the Strathavon, having lost faith
: and too frightened to camp in the
: folkie campsite ,but did visit it on
: Saturday and the feedback was that
: the security had been a success
: ,which is great to hear. We had a
: very relaxed afternoon in the Dome
: listening to the boys from Barr,
: where my wee boy could have the
: freedom to play safely with the
: other kids while we listened to the
: music. My son also had a
: entertaining morning at the kids
: workshop with Mike Hancock. and at
: night time we had good sessions.
: Thanks
