A fine, steel engraved antique print of the Thomas Viaduct ,across the Patapsco River on the Washington Branch of the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad , entitled
" VIADUCT ON BALTIMORE AND WASHINGTON RAILROAD"
USA
Engraved by H.Adlard after W.H.Bartlett and published circa 1840 for his
"AMERICAN SCENERY;
OR LAND, LAKE AND RIVER
ILLUSTRATIONS OF A TRANSATLANTIC NATURE"
Fine condition, what apears as staining, upper margin, is in fact shadowing from the scanning process and does not appear on the original.
Measuring approx. 7" x 5" (180mm x 130mm) image area only with good margins beyond..
