A highly detailed, good sized copper engraved antique print, engraved by Landseer after drawings made by the French naturalist Sonnini, & published London, J.Stratford 1810 for
Cavendish Pelham's
"THE WORLD OR THE PRESENT STATE OF THE UNIVERSE BEING A GENERAL AND COMPLETE COLLECTION OF MODERN VOYAGES AND TRAVELS........".
Fine, virtually unmarked condition.
Measuring approx. 9" x 7" ( 230mm x 180mm) to the clearly defined platemark with margins beyond that. A scarce print that would frame up well for display.
