and published by Pierre de Hondt, The Hague between 1747 -1780.
Depicting the Cape region of South Africa with tribal villages shown inland and some settlements along the coast.Mountains and wooded areas are also shown as well several anchorages in sheltered areas.
On hand laid paper with original fold lines .
Blank verso and save for very light age toning , in fine condition.
Measuring approx. 13.5" x 9.5" ( 345mm x 240mm ) printed area only with good margins beyond. A crisp impression which would frame well.
