From Samuel Butler's, "An Atlas of Ancient Geography"
An interesting classical map covering present day north west Africa from Sierra Leone, through Senegal, Mauretania, Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia and Libya.
Very fine condition with original outline hand colouring. Insignificant browning is overstated somewhat in the scan. Dated and credited in lower margin. Centrefold as issued. Blank verso.
Approx. 9.5" x 7.5"(245mm x 190mm) map area only, with good margins beyond. Would frame up nicely for display.
