"AFRICA SEPTENTRIONALIS".
Engraved by Edward Weller after Dr Charles Muller and published London , 1874 by John Murray for "Dr William Smith's Ancient Atlas".
The map covers from present day Gibraltar to Egypt and the Nile Delta and is shown in two sections, one above the other.
Hand colouring further enhances the map which is in very fine, virtually unmarked condition, blank verso and with original centrefold.
Measuring approx. 22" x 17" ( 560mm x 430mm) map area with good margins beyond.
