I really never followed Brian Auger much I am more of songwriter you know, Eb to Ab maybe through in the 2 here and there I did study jazz for a year or so and have decided that you either are a jazz musician or your not no inbetweens and I aint!.... My wife had two tickets from her mother my mother in law...so I went last night and had a very enjoyable and prophetic evening..I sat after the show while the musicians were packing up the gear and wondered if at age fifty if I should have taken music a bit more serious instead of becoming a high school teacher and playing in shitty bands and writing songs that know one will ever hear...maybe I should have worked harder, after seeing and hearing this guy Brian Auger though I just don't think I could ever come close to that...that my friends is a musical genius at work. I sat down at my piano when I got home and I felt really small and worthless...I don't know anything....
