I saw Brian Auger's show yesterday in Glendale and it was incredible. Despite a few technical difficulties, a lackluster crowd (present company excluded) and having the Arizona afternoon sun right in his eyes, I can tell you that Mr. Auger is a professional in every way. I saw him about 35 years ago (the memories are, ah, fuzzy, however) but yesterday I was stone cold sober. Let there be no doubt, people, Brian Auger still 'has it'! With his daughter as a superb lead vocalist and his son as an awesome drummer, this is a show worth seeing! The bass player kicked ass, too, despite the distraction of the front row chick in the white dress (she was distracting from behind as well, nicely so, actually...)
Brian, I hope and pray you and your band can make it back to Arizona (perhaps at a more professional venue) because my wife and I will be at the show, for sure! Thank you for an awesome performance and God bless you and yours.
