Hi Brian
On a bootlegger catalogue, I found that last month there were joint concerts of Jeff Beck and Eric Clapton in Japan where first each one played his set, and then they played together, but this had already happened.
What was new is that they played together a medley of two tracks : Listen Here + Compared To What ! I can't imagine these are different tracks from the Eddie Harris and Gene Mc Daniels compositions you played (and still play concerning Compared to what), so I am impatient to hear what my favourite guitar player (Jeff Beck) has done with my favourite keyboard player (guess who) repertoire !
The only connections I knew between you and them was For your love (and its harpsichord) for EC and the collaboration with his former band mates Alex Ligertwood and Clive Chaman for JB. Did you ever played with Jeff ?
More details on July, it seems I'll have to go to Stuttgart as Paris still lacks of clever promoters !
