Brian... I simply must tell you how much I've ALWAYS enjoyed your songwriting, musicianship, and eternal optimism. Just today, after a recent bad turn, I took a long walk along the S.F. waterfront, all the while listening to a generous helping of your music on my .mp3 player. My mood was instantly uplifted by your infectious grooves and always positive message (of course the sun & bay breeze helped as well). But it's not the first time I've turned to your songs as a catalyst. It's been going on since back in the Jools & Auge days! Thanks for so many years of great music, and congrats on you Lifetime Achievement award! Hope to catch you when you're in the Bay Area next month.
