I had tickets for Billy Cobham's show at Yoshi's, too, but then a week before the concert I noticed that Brian's name was no longer listed with the rest of the musicians playing with him. I called to find out why and what they told me is that he had never been confirmed and that by the time the tickets actually went on sale on March 1 his name had been removed. I don't recall that being the case, but they were gracious enough to let me switch those tickets to use for a future concert. I was mighty glad they let me do that since they have such a strict policy of no refunds.
Brian sent me a message saying he will be at the Monterey Jazz Festival in September.
