I am ONLY GUESSING!

The reason drive training has become so popular, is because you learn a black and white system for getting the desired actions from the dog. It is a SYSTEM that you learn. If it does not work on the dog, they tell that it is the dog's bad genes. |
This has created an entire industry, that breeds pups that are born with an inherited ALLERGY.
ALLERGY = a damaging immune response by the body to a substance, to which it has become hypersensitive.
They breed pups that hypersensitive to anything that wiggles, rolls, flies, and especially bounces = PREY DRIVE.
The other ways require understanding dogs. This is neither black and white, nor is it something that you can watch a DVD and go forth and make it happen, in your dog. It takes practice, to hone your abilities.
Every single creature that God makes, follows the path of least resistance. Humans buy their DVDs, and become Black and White, SYSTEM matter experts overnight.
Second ... when people were initially looking for protection, they were sold the same bill of goods about sport dogs. They swallowed that pill, and started making sport dogs.
In order to listen to what I am saying, they would have wasted all that time, effort, and money for not. They would no longer be the Black and White SYSTEM matter Experts they were. Telling people that have wasted all of this, is truly a bitter pill.
Let us not forget the INDUSTRY that churns out gimmicks, and training to sell to the SPORT dog world. Those folks squeal like a stuck pig, when they hear me challenge their Golden Gimmick Laying Goose.
I still claim that you only need a dog. (The Agitator will provide a suitable harness, 2 back ties and collar)
It is his ass, and he makes damn sure that it is good quality, protecting his pretty face.
I have even seen a Dumbass show up with a Velcro harness, and expect me to get in front of his dog. I cannot repeat the thousands of names that I called him. I promise that I verbally beat him about the head and shoulders enough, that he will not do it again.
No suit, no sleeve, no sport
