looking for American Bulldog breeding

My son is looking for a nice American bulldog pup...He is married, one child. Experienced with tough protective dogs and has had them all his life, he is twenty -six.
He will most likely not work the dog in sport work, wants a medium to high drive male pup from two very protective parents.

Has acquired a very nice home on about two acres, no close neighbors. last dog was a ninety pound pitbull, very protective and smart.

I suggested a nice AB for his consideration...he asked me to find him one. i notced a lot of quality breedings on several boards but most of the breeders are only selling dogs to people who will professionally work the dogs. if anyone has a breeding or knows of one that would produce hard smart civil in protection pups, please advise!
He's an attorney so he has the cash, Im very proud of him...lol

Plz hit me back...maybe there is a real nice male pup for him out there that's the real deal.

I kinda gave u on american bulldogs and went to bandogs for the superior protection offered, but he wants a slightly smaller animal.

He's trying to find a protective line of pits but having no luck,..because of the stigma of protective or man aggressive pits, everyone here understands

So if you know of a breeding or breeder willing to release this type of pup as a guard for home and family please advise...he will live a wonderful life and be treated like a king.

this has just caught my attention and curiosity as well....what a BEAUTIFUL dog.....I have always admired AB's however as a trainer have had few experiences finding solid ones....especially when it comes to civil/protective traits...the ones that would actually work, have predominantly did so out of prey drives combined with solid training... and the ones that had any suspicion at all usually were simply acting out of weak nerve and poor socialization and if they did actually bite, well...all of us here know how that would play out... not something id be able to ever count in when it counts...

i have always had an eye out for a solid AB, but my years of working with the herders has made it difficult for me to be fully satisfied with the drives i have been seeing in the ABs....and when looking for a "partner" not a dog for my business, I still dream of a mollosser at my feet..ive had some wonderful herder experiences, yet will always have an affinity for the good 'ol boys! lol

how did the first breeding turn out?
drives, personalites......etc...

again, this is quite the beautiful dog, hence my motivation to add to this thread..

I had the pleasure of meeting a b###h that was a year, or just about, out of the first breeding that Jon speaks of that Al produced out of his dogs in Canada and was VERY impressed with her.
Structurally she was stunning and one of her first times out of a kennel environment was at a MondioRing trial I was also at and she was very confident, pretty laid back but not aloof, not animal or people aggressive, very fit and healthy both in mind and body imo....a great base to work with for most venues, just a solid dog.
I don't know about her "drive" and I don't know about her natural protective instincts on her turf, but when thrown into a crazy/busy environment for the first time in her life she took it all in and showed zero signs of weaknesses.
I hope this litter proves to be just as successful, a breeder couldn't ask for better!

first what stae do you live in ? @nd there are /going to be some nice breeding going on. He should look around and talk to alot of people. Just got back from an AB show in SC> saw alot of nice dogs. There out there if I can help send and email.
