this has just caught my attention and curiosity as well....what a BEAUTIFUL dog.....I have always admired AB's however as a trainer have had few experiences finding solid ones....especially when it comes to civil/protective traits...the ones that would actually work, have predominantly did so out of prey drives combined with solid training... and the ones that had any suspicion at all usually were simply acting out of weak nerve and poor socialization and if they did actually bite, well...all of us here know how that would play out...
not something id be able to ever count in when it counts...
i have always had an eye out for a solid AB, but my years of working with the herders has made it difficult for me to be fully satisfied with the drives i have been seeing in the ABs....and when looking for a "partner" not a dog for my business, I still dream of a mollosser at my feet..ive had some wonderful herder experiences, yet will always have an affinity for the good 'ol boys! lol
how did the first breeding turn out?
drives, personalites......etc...
again, this is quite the beautiful dog, hence my motivation to add to this thread..
