Is a b###h that cannot properly work through the whelping process in a fit psycological/hormonal state to raise a litter of pups?
If the conflict between her contact with humans and her instincts is magnified is she in a mental state to desirably imprint her pups?
Are traits such as mothering ability and free whelping ever lost or just suppressed?
Is the value of a pup determined by its sale price to the new owner or its potential lifetime contribution to its owner and the future gene pool of the breed? Is it by the new owners emotional investment?
