In most cases I agree that dog breeding has become more about money. Not in my case. I think when a person spends alot of quality time working and training their dog they form a strong bond. The dog has the desire to be with that person at all times, even during whelping. With my girls, after a few pups were born, they settled down and let mother nature take over. But they still kept an eye on where I was.
