She was due on June 6th and was born July 11th. I knew I was in labor for 2 weeks 1/2 weeks and theykept telling me, nope your not ready yet because I hadn't dialated (that was the whole problem people!!!OMG) but would they listen to me nooooo... sure enough i finally demanded they do Ultrasound and check me again and tey did and all the sudden "OH CRAP!! We gotta get her out now!!!" so off to be induced I went. 22 hours of induced labor and no progress and finally both of us crashed with BP and heart rates and they did an emergancy C-section. She was too big for me to come out. Her head wouldn't fit thru the pelvic girdle and so no pressure to help dialte everything.
She was 9lbs 2oz and 21 inches long. She's now right at 10lbs 1oz.
Here's her in the NICU (she had a heart murmer and they kept her in there til they figured out what caused it). I didn't get to see her til hours later. I didn't handle the surgery well and had a bad recovery coming out of it.
Luckily hubs took photos for me ![]()
