Heart breaking, isn't it; To think the Dogs were just allowed to die out. Even worse, within living memory.

I don't know what became of Tim. But I'm sure he'd said the lady in question had 'papers' relating to her fathers Dogs. Perhaps she had more photo's?

I'd love to see one giving us a clearer scale. They were said to be 'Huge'. But, I guess our appreciation would now be dampened by exposure to some of the stuff we see today - bred for size things.
