Jodie, did your Bailey's come from Carter co., ky.? It really seems they all just dropped out of the sky one day, kids and all.
My Frank Bailey moved to Graves co.,Ky. where he was a miner. I had always assumed he was a coal miner, having been told he died of black lung. But i found out (i think) he worked in a clay mine. Probably just as bad. Was under the impression also from some bad info that his family was part of a clan of Baileys' that were already in Graves co. Have a photo of that families 7 brothers and, they all look like members of my family. Was told the were not related. My Gfather, Frank died in 1933. Wish i could get this straightened out before i go bonkers. Are your Baileys' driving you as crazy as mine are me?
Thanks for the response. Who knows, there could be a connection. I don't take anything for granted anymore.
