I am gonna go out of my mind. I have some conflicting info on my Baileys.
My gfather, Frank Bailey b.1882-84 ?, Carter co., Ky., d. 1931 Graves co.,Ky. Married Betty(Bettie) Richards,1901, graves co.,Ky. I have his father as James Bailey b.1859 ?,m. Mahala melvina Burchett, b.1866,d. 1901. MAYBE-- Also was given info that James died 1944, m. Susie Burchett b. 1863. This last entry has them having one child, Edna L., b. 1890, d.1964. My first info source has James & Mahala having 6 children; Frank(my gfather ?), Miriam, Iris, Edna(b. 1893), Orba, & Freddie. The first source of names feels closer because of the names in my fathers family. My father, Fred Weldon had 2 sisters; Iris & Beatris.
I have also been given two different fathers for James Bailey; 1) Elijah & wife Susan McBrayer. 2)Andrew Jackson Bailey & wife Lucinda Mullins.
I can't find a census, any certificates of any kind from any source to prove or disprove either. Don't know which way to turn. I'm getting dizzy. I very much need some help.
