Mary E. Taber, b 1829, Knox Co. IL, married 1st to John L. Tanner, 10 Aug 1848. They had 5 known children, Benjamin, Araminta, Hammond N., William M., and John H. Tanner. She 2nd married to Joshua A. Bailey born abt 1826, Missouri., abt 1859 in Sonora Co. Calif. Joshua may have had at least one son, William, at the time of marriage. Joshua and Mary were found in 1870 census in Visalia, Tulare Co., CA, 1880 census, Eden, Jackson, Co., Oregon. They had six known children, Josephine, George M, Rebecca, Elizabeth, May, and Joshua. Please contact me if you have any information about Mary Taber Tanner Bailey and her husbands and children. I would especially like to have a photo of Mary but any info will be welcome. Will share.
