William Bailey who was one of Hardy's older brothers, He does look real rugged like he might have Indian. He died in the civil war. All I really have on Sidney I found in the Turner County,Ga. history where he moved there from Telfair Co., Ga. His family is listed as Sara, William, Hardy,Seborn, and Riley. Another Bailey relative found on the 1860 Census Dooly County, Ga. Sarah, age 45 owned two 160 acres. Living with her Hardy age 12, Ceaborn age 18, Wiley,I think Riley, age 10, and C. A.,female age 7. I believe this is the same land my Father said his Father James Horton B., his father was Wm., lived on where my Father grew up. My father said Sidney and his brother James poineered this land from the early land lottery. Probably about 1820. My father passed away in the 70's. This land is where I also lived after my grandmother Mattie Hardin Bailey retired. She was James H B.'s wife. This land is still owned by my cousin Carl Bailey. It's here in Crisp County, Ga. One of my other counsins says he has found Sidney on the Telfair county, Ga. Census. I don't have that info from my records. I don't know much about Hardy. My research has been on Wm. Hardy's brother. Til later, Marolyn B. Green
