Hello,
I just purchased a large collection of vintage photographs and one included is a vintage CDV (Carte de Viste) photograph of a lovely young woman. Then writing in the border of the CDV appears to be in her hand and reads "Bettie Bailey - Mississippi." The photo was taken by W.W. Washburn in New Orleans and is circa 1860 or 1870. Might this be someone in your family?
