UPDATE: 6/15/2012 Cocoa was seen in/near the Avalon gated community in Fremont again yesterday. Owner is out looking for her. She's skinny & scared & bolted from most people. The people she did try to get help from were afraid of her and didn't do anything other than call. Better than nothing.... please help her owner get her home safely soon. Her mom Tracey really appreciates all the help she can get
6/14/2012 Please help Cocoa come home Cocoa is lost and her family hopes this message will help bring their beloved dog home.
Can you help?
A gentle, older Pit bull terrier/Shar Pei-mix, Cocoa escaped from her Milpitas, California home in late May.... She was spotted in Fremont just last week and could be anywhere. She’s nine years old, dark brown to brown/black with grey around her muzzle and paws, and weighs 45 pounds. Cocoa and her person relocated from Albuquerque, New Mexico, and the dog is still wearing Albuquerque tags. If you have any information about Cocoa, please call her family at (505) 730-0918, (408) 945-9584 or (425) 417-7699 or email: tracey.baca@yahoo.com.
After spending many nights in her car searching the area with no luck after numerous reported sightings, owner went and stayed the night at her own house on Saturday.
She emailed and said that Cocoa wake her up at 1:45 crying....she was emaciated and is at the vets, so waiting for an update.
Keep up the jingls & prayers, poor girl needs them
