Subject: Our truck and horse trailer were stolen today
We would appreciate it if you could put a notice out - the more people the better.
Our truck and horse trailer were stolen today, friday May 18 at about 10:45 to 12 noon or so, from the Cronan Ranch parking area. Jeanne and Marlane Gregoire were trail riding. Jeanne locked the truck and trailer, they left on the trail ride, and when they got back to the parking area, the truck and trailer were gone. Marlane brought Jeanne and her horse home, and all are OK.
The truck is a 2000 Ford F-250 Super Cab with the 7.3 liter Diesel. That is probably why it was stolen. I have been asked if I want to sell it several times lately because of the engine. It is Very dark blue on top(looks black in some lighting conditions) over silver gray on the bottom. The license plate is only on the rear - 6E08877.
The trailer is a 2005 Trails West. Its license plate is 4HE4430. It is white with the trails west logo down the side. It is a 2 horse slant load with HiTies on both sides. The tack room has 2 saddles and various tack and stuff inside, including a spare tire and water tank.
If anyone was riding at Cronan this morning, or traveling down Highway 49 in either direction between 10:45 and noon. They could have seen the truck and trailer being driven away from Cronan - or Pedro Hill Rd where it enters hwy 49.
By now, of course, they rig could be several hundred miles away.
Any information or help would be appreciated. The Highway Patrol warns to not touch anything or approach anyone seen with the rig, but to call us and we will call the CHP and report it. Please provide name and phone number if there are any witnesses.
Thanks, Bill and Jeanne 530-885-9153
