A small herd of appaloosas has turned up in Northwestern Nevada, apparently without documentation. The group includes four studs,
two pregnant mares, a young maiden mare and an a mature dry mare. There is reason to believe that the animals may have been stolen out of Nevada or California (or other another western state) or were purchased using a bad check. The person holding the horses reportedly fled the police when they appeared on other matters.
If anyone is aware of such a theft in recent months please email me and I will connect any claimant with the appropriate authorities.
The horses may simply have been abandoned, however if they do belong to someone we'd like to get them back to their rightful owners.
