
Posted by Heidi S. on 3/8/2004, 8:48 am a yearling paint colt (gelded?) very wild, ulcerated eye, will probably lose it, very underweight and wormy looking a sorrel mare, thin a grulla paint gelding, thin and wormy looking, fairly tall a palomino stallion, probably 15 hands +/- the nicest looking horse of the bunch another paint and I can't remember the rest. There were 4 dogs too, 3 am. eskimos and small fluffy brown/black dog all the horses were hairy, the driver said he was coming from Calif. and looking at the hair coat length, I kind of don't believe that! 7 horses were abandoned at the Clark County fairgrounds in Ridgefield Washington last Wed. Horses were put in stalls and 4 dogs were left in the trailer. No food or water til Sat. night! A man claiming to own them came back to hook up and drive off, but the Sheriff had already locked them down. The "driver/owner's" stories didn't make any sense, he couldn't give names or numbers to who he was delivering the horses to, lied about coming to the fair to feed them. He said he came in at night, but the fair is padlocked. The horses are kind of as follows:
