My horse trailer was stolen sometime in March or April from a private parcel of land off Nicasio Valley Rd (Marin County, California).
My trailer is an all white 1992 7' tall, 2-horse, slant-load with tack room manufactured by Rope in Milad, Idaho.
It has a custom-fitted, white tarp cover covering the entire roof and side openings (I think 3 on each side) and secured by grommets installed on the sides. It has a spare tire, rubber bumper and flooring inside. It has Idaho license plate # 363UAK and vin # SS1192R001168.
The locked tack room contained 2 or perhaps 3 saddles: One was a Louis Saare endurance saddle made for my very wide-backed Tennessee Walker, another a black English saddle and several bridles and misc. equipment. It also contained the sway bars for the trailer. The tack room has a vent on the roof but no windows. The trailer was pointed in the front. It is a rather easy trailer to spot because it is very tall and is made by a manufacturer that is never seen in this part of the country.
The entrance to the property is a winding, steep dirt drive that goes through the ranch owner's property to the ridge. The trailer was tucked off to the side of the driveway about 3/4 the way up. The trailer has been stored there for several years now--with the property owner's permission of course. I went out last Sunday to finally move it and it was gone!!! I hadn't been up the road since winter this year but the property owner had in late March or April. He confirmed that it was there at that time.
Again, thank you for your assistance.
