Hi all -I am posting for a friend.
Horse was last seen yesterday afternoon in Coyote Meadows off Rte. 108 above Pinecrest Lake. Near Kennedy Meadows.
Horse Description: Black/Seal brown Quarter Horse. 14.1-14.2 hands. 4 white socks. TNT brand on hip. No markings on face. Was wearing green stable sheet and halter with tag (which has owners name/number).
Escaped from campsite during the night when bear came into camp. Horse not injured or pursued by bear.

Owner is in area & sheriff & ranger are searching. Apparently there is an endurance ride scheduled up there in a few days -riders marking the course came through the campsite & will be on the lookout for the horse as well.
