on Saturday we had a wolf/husky looking male dog show up. he was probly attracted to the BBQ. He is a large dog, Very tall, long and lean. Obviously somebodys pet.
He is a gorgeous dog. never seen such a pretty boy. and he is a little stand offish but very sweet once he gets to know you.
He had no collar when he showed up. we took him down to a vet in Los Gatos, and had him checked for a chip and they couldnt find one. they said that he may be chipped but through all the hair the reader isnt picking it up, and to be sure they would have to shave him.
He has no matts, and has had his nails recently trimmed. Somebody took care of this guy.
If you think this is your lost dog, contact me. You MUST prove he was/is your dog. With a pic. or supply me with a name he should respond to or describe his markings ect. i wont just let him go to anybody.
He is very well behaved around the horses, and helped herd cattle today into a lower pasture. Our ranch is near Skyline (hiway 35) and alpine/page mill. Lots of Open space arround here.
im hoping somebody was hiking in open space with their dog and he got away from them. You wouldnt believe how many dogs we get DUMPED here. it happens all the time... usually we send them to the neighbor, and she finds them homes.
But this guy I WILL KEEP, if somebody doesnt come forward and prove he is theirs. He is a keeper and obviously at one time somebody loved him. Skinny right now, but gaining weight nicely, very active dog, so he keeps himself lean.
