An incredibly sweet and well-behaved large donkey or mule was found tonight, running down Masten Ave. in Gilroy. He is a male, we are guessing more or less around 10 years old (?). I'm embarrassed to say I do not know of he is a large donkey or an average-sized mule. He appears to be very well-cared for and very loved. CHP asked me to bring him home and keep him until the owner can be located. If you know whose he might be, please email me or call Gilroy CHP office. He is mostly brown with some graying on his face.
