Lodi/Galt/Lockeford area - my 2 new PMU mares got caught up on their pipe paneling, broke off the gate and took off around 3:30pm on Christmas day. We were at a relatives house all day and did not return to find this out until after midnight! One mare had gone through my neighbors 3 fences before taking off at a dead gallop on the main road. We have recovered one horse and we believe that she is the one reported being seen due to her recovery site. The other has not been seen nor did the 2 of them stay together. This happened in Acampo near the corner of Jahant and Elliot Rd. Horse that is still missing is Chequita, 16yr old black and white registered paint (I have her papers) she is IN FOAL, not people friendly, was wearing a bright red break away halter, and is lame on her front right leg. Her hooves are still a little long and she still has her sorting tag glued to the top of her rump. You can find pictures of Chequita on the link below. PLEASE PLEASE help me find her safe!
